The Cord Cutter — Release & Letting Go Ritual Kit
For grief, heartbreak, toxic pattern release, letting something complete.
Whether you are closing a chapter, releasing a person, or finally letting go of a version of yourself that no longer serves — this ritual was designed for the cut that needs to be clean.
What’s Inside
Black Obsidian Palm Stone (~5cm)
Volcanic glass, formed by rapid cooling. Its reflective surface has been used for shadow work and reflection across Mesoamerican, Native American, and Eastern traditions. Hold it when you need to see clearly what you are releasing.
Dragon’s Blood Incense (5 Sticks)
Dragon’s Blood resin is documented in folk medicine and tradition as a strengthening agent for transitions. Burn one stick each day of the practice.
Black Salt Blend (Small Sachet)
Used across African Diaspora and European folk traditions for energetic clearing. Sprinkle at doorways or windows after the practice is complete.
Pre-Knotted Cord (9 Knots, Black Silk, 12”) with Small Ritual Scissors
Knotted cord work is documented across Mediterranean, Celtic, and South American traditions. The physical act of cutting serves as a somatic anchor for a psychological release — the scissors are not symbolic, they are the embodied decision.
Himalayan Salt + Lavender Bath Soak (Muslin Sachet)
For the final night. The body releases what the mind has named.
Cord Cutter Ritual Card
A 9-day practice. Name each knot — 9 things you are releasing. Cut one knot each day while burning Dragon’s Blood. On Day 9: bathe in the salt and lavender soak. The cord is disposed of outside your home.
The 9-Day Practice
One knot per day. One naming per day. By Day 9, everything you chose to release has been physically separated from you. The bath on the final night closes the container.
