The quality of a reading has as much to do with the question as it does with the reader.
Most people arrive at a session carrying a vague weight, something is off, something feels uncertain, something needs to change. That is enough to begin. But if you want to go deeper, it helps to think about what you are actually asking.
Why Specificity Matters
Vague questions produce vague answers. Not because the reader is not skilled, but because broad energy is harder to work with than focused energy. The cards, the intuition, the conversation, all of it has more to land on when you come with some clarity.
The Questions That Open the Most
The most useful questions tend to start with: what, how, or why.
Not: will he come back?
But: what is standing between me and a clear decision about this relationship?
Not: will I get the job?
But: what do I need to understand about how I am showing up in my career right now?
The shift is from outcome to understanding. You may not be able to control the outcome. You can absolutely work with your understanding.
You Do Not Need a Perfect Question
That said, you do not need a perfect question. Your reader will help you find the right focus. Come with whatever is real. Come honest. Come without the version of the story you have been telling everyone else and instead bring the version you have only told yourself.
That is where the most useful work happens.
Bring one thing you have not been able to say out loud yet. Often that is where the reading wants to go anyway.
If you are thinking about booking your first session, choosing the right reader is worth considering. And once your reading is complete, knowing what to do afterward can make the difference between insight and change.
A reading can clarify which of these is for you right now.
