The Apprenticeship
The LePsychic Apprenticeship is a small, year-long program for practitioners who want to refine their craft inside a professional house. It is not a certification. It is a training in how to work well with other people's real lives.
Who It Is For
Practitioners with at least three years of paid reading experience who want to go deeper. You already read competently; this year is about ethics, scope, session craft, and the business of a long career.
What You Study
Four terms across the year. Craft and voice, with an editor and a senior advisor. Ethics and scope, including case studies and standards board reviews. Client care, including grief, consent, and crisis literacy. The business of practice, including pricing, boundaries, and sustainable scheduling.
How It Runs
Twelve apprentices per cohort. One cohort per year. Monthly live sessions of three hours, quarterly weekend retreats of two days, monthly one-to-one with your assigned mentor, and a peer pod of three fellow apprentices you meet with weekly.
What You Graduate With
A portfolio of supervised readings, a written practice statement, an ethics memo, and a private path to application for the LePsychic roster. Graduation is not a guarantee of roster placement; we choose advisors on roster independently of the apprenticeship.
Cost and Aid
Tuition is published openly each year. We offer two full scholarships per cohort, prioritized for practitioners from underrepresented traditions and communities. Payment plans are available without interest.
How to Apply
Applications open once a year. You will submit a written practice statement, two references, and a recorded thirty-minute reading with a stand-in client. Interviews follow for shortlisted applicants.
