Our Giving
LePsychic is a small, profitable business, and we believe profit comes with responsibility. Our giving is quiet, consistent, and focused on the communities closest to our work.
One Percent
We pledge at minimum one percent of annual revenue to the causes on this page. Revenue, not profit, so that the commitment is not a function of a good year. The amount and the recipients are published in our annual transparency note.
Where It Goes
Crisis lines and mental health nonprofits serving the communities most likely to reach our advisors, including grief support, LGBTQ plus youth lines, domestic violence hotlines, and sober support networks. Independent literary and art organizations that preserve folk traditions, oral history, and ritual practice. Scholarship funds for our own Apprenticeship program, prioritizing practitioners from underrepresented lineages.
Pro Bono Readings
Our advisors collectively dedicate a small number of readings per quarter to clients referred by partner nonprofits, at no charge and without publicity. We do not publish names or photos of pro bono clients.
Beneficiary Partners
Each year we name three main beneficiaries, alongside any emergency funds we contribute to during the year. The current partners are listed below with short notes on why we chose them. If you have a nonprofit you love, you may nominate it in writing, once per year, for consideration.
What We Will Not Do
Political campaigns, candidates, or partisan PACs. Organizations that we cannot verify through their financial filings and stated ethics. Causes that do not fit our mission and that would distract from the work.
Report
Our annual transparency note is published here each January and covers giving, complaints, refund rates, advisor turnover, and client demographics in aggregate. We welcome scrutiny.
