At LePsychic, we don't just accept anyone who claims to be psychic. Every advisor on our platform has passed through a rigorous, multi-stage verification process designed to ensure you receive genuine, compassionate, and professional spiritual guidance.

The result? Only 3% of applicants are accepted onto LePsychic.

🔍 Our 5-Stage Verification Process
Every potential advisor must complete all five stages before being approved to offer readings on our platform.

 
Stage 1: Application & Credentials Review
What we require:

✅ Detailed application including:

Years of professional experience providing readings
Training, certifications, or lineage (if applicable)
Specialties (tarot, mediumship, clairvoyance, astrology, etc.)
Reading style and approach
Client testimonials or references
✅ Professional background verification:

Previous platforms or businesses where they've worked
Social media presence or professional website (if available)
Any relevant credentials or memberships in spiritual/psychic organizations
What we assess:

Do they have demonstrable experience?
Can they articulate their process clearly and professionally?
Do their references check out?
Rejection reasons at this stage:

Insufficient experience (less than 2 years of active practice)
No verifiable background or references
Application shows unprofessional communication
Red flags suggesting exploitative practices
 
Stage 2: Identity & Background Verification
What we require:

✅ Government-issued ID verification

Confirms they are who they claim to be
Protects against fraudulent accounts
✅ Background check (where legally permissible):

Screens for criminal history related to fraud, exploitation, or abuse
Ensures client safety
✅ Payment & tax information:

Confirms legitimacy for business purposes
Ensures proper financial accountability

Stage 3: Live Interview & Assessment
What happens:

✅ Video interview with our vetting team (30-45 minutes):

Discussion of their background, philosophy, and ethical approach
Assessment of communication skills and professionalism
Questions about how they handle difficult situations (client distress, unclear readings, boundary issues)
Review of their understanding of our Ethical Code of Conduct

Authenticity: Do they seem genuine, or are they performing?

Ethics: Do they understand the difference between guidance and exploitation?

Stage 4: Test Reading & Peer Review
What we require:

✅ Recorded test reading:

The applicant provides a reading for a volunteer client (not disclosed to them as a test)
Session is recorded with consent
Reading must be at least 20 minutes

✅ Evaluation by senior psychic panel:

Accuracy & Insight: Does the reading contain specific, relevant information?
Interpretive Skill: Can they translate intuitive impressions into meaningful guidance?
Client Connection: Do they create a safe, comfortable space?
Ethical Conduct: Do they avoid fear tactics, false guarantees, or boundary violations?
Professionalism: Are they punctual, respectful, and focused?

The volunteer client provides honest feedback about their experience
Did they feel heard, respected, and supported?
Was the reading helpful and delivered with care?
Scoring system:

Minimum score of 8/10 required across all evaluation criteria
Any ethical violations result in automatic disqualification
This is the most important stage. We don't just check credentials — we verify actual ability and client experience.

 
Stage 5: Ethics Agreement & Onboarding
What we require:

✅ Signed Ethical Code of Conduct:

Advisors must read and formally agree to our ethical standards
Violations result in suspension or removal

✅ Platform training:

How to use our booking and communication systems
Best practices for client interaction
How to handle technical issues and client concerns
Understanding our refund and complaint processes

✅ Probationary period (first 30 days):

New advisors start with limited visibility
First 10 sessions are closely monitored
Client feedback is reviewed in real-time
Must maintain minimum 4.6/5 star rating to move to full active status
Final approval: Only after successfully completing probation does an advisor gain full platform access.

Reviews are never deleted (unless they violate our review policy, such as containing personal attacks or profanity)

Do they show up on time for scheduled readings?
Do they respond to booking requests promptly?
✅ Complaint rate:

How many refund requests or complaints does the advisor receive?
Are patterns emerging that suggest ethical or quality issues?
✅ Session completion rate:

Do they complete sessions fully and professionally?

What Happens If Standards Slip:
⚠️ Warning (Rating drops to 4.5 or below):

Advisor is notified and given feedback
Required to complete refresher ethics training
Sessions are monitored more closely
⏸️ Temporary Suspension (Rating drops to 4.3 or verified complaint):

Advisor is temporarily removed from active listings
Investigation conducted
Must demonstrate improvement before reinstatement

Multiple verified ethical violations

Any serious breach of our Ethical Code of Conduct (fear tactics, boundary violations, fraud)
